You’ve set aside 14 days for this epic adventure, and you prefer to spend no more than 4 hours driving each day. Here’s how the CampTarget App becomes your ultimate co-pilot in planning this voyage:
#1 Choose Your Starting Point: Key in ‘Vienna’ into the ‘Your starting location’ input field. Alternatively, if you want the app to detect your current location, just click on the location pin, and voila! Your journey’s starting point is set.
#2 Add Your Desirable Destinations: Now, it’s time to plot the journey ahead. Add your first stopover, in our case, it’s the Spanish gem – ‘Malaga’. As you add your second location, the versatile Route Settings menu makes an appearance on your screen.
#3 Customize Your Journey According to Your Preferences: Here’s where you have complete control over shaping your journey’s timeline. In our Route Settings, we’ll outline the trip as follows:
– Days allocated for this trip: 14 days
– Preferred daily driving hours: 4 hours
– Average speed (km/h): 80 km/h (my personal comfortable cruising speed for camper vans on highways)

#4 Include More Destinations in Your Itinerary: With the first few steps completed, proceed to add ‘Milan’ and ‘Venice’ to your journey. To complete a scenic round trip back to ‘Vienna’, simply add it as your final destination. With our user-friendly interface, you can easily reorder the sequence of your stopovers by moving them up or down.
A handy tip: The CampTarget App assumes you’ll be staying overnight at each destination. If your outlined daily driving time extends the journey beyond your allocated vacation days (like in our case, 16 days instead of the intended 14), don’t worry! You can tweak either the number of daily driving hours or the total trip days to suit your schedule. In our scenario, we’ll raise the daily driving time to 5 hours, effectively trimming down our adventure to a more manageable 13 days.
