CampTarget App is an all-in-one road trip planning app designed specifically for camper van and RV users. Its purpose is to help you create the perfect route for your next journey with ease.
The app was born out of a common problem we encountered while using other road trip planning apps. We had a clear vision of the places we wanted to visit, the duration of our stay at each location, the available time for the trip, and our preferred daily driving limit (usually around 4 hours, followed by a stop for the day).
For instance, let’s consider a sample itinerary:
Starting point: Vienna (AT)
Places I want to visit: Malaga (SP), Milan (IT), Venice (IT)
End point: Returning back to Vienna (AT)
Prior to embarking on our trip, we had several questions that needed answers:
1. How long would the entire trip take?
2. Did we have sufficient time to visit all the desired places?
3. Where should we make overnight stops based on our driving preferences?
What amenities and facilities could we expect at these stops?
However, when using other existing apps in the market, we encountered a number of challenges:
1. They only displayed the total driving time, without providing a comprehensive breakdown.
2. Many planning apps did not offer an option for a return trip.
3. Determining suitable overnight stops after each 4-hour drive required guesswork, followed by additional verification.
4. We had to rely on multiple platforms to gather the desired information.
5. Most platforms were overly complicated and difficult to navigate.
Our objective with CampTarget App is to create an intuitive, all-in-one solution that swiftly provides answers to these four critical questions.
